Vincent Butta is a visionary executive business leader with a 25-year track record in Operations, Executive Management, Technology, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Sales Management, Brand Creation, Licensing, Digital & Social Media, and Strategic Planning. As President of Salon Retail franchise Dashing Diva he created and rolled out franchises as well as private label brands world wide. He served as President and effectively rescued ADC (a worldwide in-store marketing, manufacturing and distribution operation employing, 400 people), growing the company from $2 million in negative EBIT to over $117 million in sales and $17 million in EBIT in 4 years. Mr. Butta has launched over 400 consumer products for companies such as P&G, J&J, Reebok, Revlon, L’Oreal, SK, Gillette, Pepsi and many others. As CEO, he helped build and operate one of the largest digital Stock photography sales and on-line web distribution company (Superstock). Mr. Butta previously helped to create and roll out Sephora stores worldwide and reinvented the beauty category for Target Stores, resulting in 12% department sales increase with a revamp of the beauty department. While EVP for Steve & Barry’s, he created and Launched apparel and accessory brands Bitten by Sara Jessica Parker, Starbury by Stephon Marbury, Dear by Amanda Bynes and other celeb based apparel lines. Mr. Butta secured over 450 licensing agreements with actors/celebrities, global brands and sports figures and developed product lines that grew Steve and Barry’s retail business from $260 Million to $700+ million in 4 years.
Seth Elliott, SVP & Chief Strategy Officer
Seth Elliott has spent more than 15 years as a founder, advisor or senior executive of startups or digital growth companies, with focus on business & strategic planning, operational execution and corporate & business development. He has helped to accelerate corporate growth in diverse markets, on behalf of a a variety of companies through economic conditions ranging from boom to bus, developing a rare combination of experience, vision, leadership and business intuition. Mr. Elliott founded Pegasus Advisory group, a consulting organization that provides business development and advisory services to emerging growth companies. On behalf of RedBlizzard, a a proprietary Silverlight animation suite, he created a product launch plan, including coordinating outreach to key Microsoft MVP’s for testing and review. He classified business development segments, identified target opportunities, approached appropriate individuals and formulated relevant business development offerings in conjunction with CEO of CityPockets, a NYC venture backed startup in the Daily Deal space. Mr. Elliott initiated strategic business development partnerships on behalf of LawPivot, a venture-funded Silicon Valley firm, with several key sites to drive membership acquisition. As VP of Business Development for FastCall, a 500 Startups backed company, he refined go-to-market strategy, including a focus on direct sales to key verticals and leveraged partnerships. While advisor and Director of Copyright Control Services, Mr. Elliott arranged a $25 million sale of the company to a NASDAQ listed rim. He founded Sneakers.com, an internet sports retailer, and secured a team that included the Founding CEO of The Sports Authority, the former CEO of K-Mart stores and the Vice Chairman of The North Face. As Vice President of Investment Banking for Commonwealth Associates, he assisted in raising more than $125 million of capital for emerging growth companies. Mr. Elliott is the Founder of The Startup Forum and Curator of The Startup Digest Miami.
